R-2 Contractors is currently seeking a motivated GPS Surveyor to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued success with a company that values integrity and professionalism. “Pride, Grit, & Own It!!” The list of primary responsibilities includes, but is not limited to the following: · Understand GPS projections and survey units used in different states· Establish control networks for construction sites/localize to existing control· Verification of provided project data such as existing elevations and location of key infrastructure· Prepares digital terrain models and linework files for use on construction sites· Construction layout of site utilities and grading· Collect As-built data of installed infrastructure and grading· Prepares as-built drawings· Volume verification· Training team members in the use of GPS Requirements: Proficiency in:o Topcon GPS receivers, data collectors, field softwareo Topcon Magnet, Pocket3Do AutoCADR-2 is passionate about cultivating a work environment where our employees feel valued.
