A company is looking for a Government Mortgage Underwriter (Full-Time) to work remotely. Key Responsibilities Validate automated underwriting findings and verify accuracy of documents Review appraisals to ensure accurate valuation and support Communicate with relevant parties regarding loan status and requirements Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience in FHA, USDA, and VA underwriting Active underwriting experience with FHA, VA, and USDA loans in the last 24 months Solid knowledge of conventional and government underwriting guidelines Extensive mortgage guideline and compliance knowledge Familiarity with FNMA DO/DU, FHLMC LP, and USDA GUS
