The firm emphasizes professional growth, including realistic opportunities for associates to advance toward shareholder status.DutiesProvide legal support to the firm’s Government Contracts practice, handling litigation and compliance mattersCollaborate with attorneys in other practice areas on cross-functional projectsConduct legal research and analysis, and prepare related legal documents and reportsRepresent clients in negotiations and proceedings as necessaryMaintain direct client contact, ensuring consistent and high-quality serviceManage multiple cases and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentUphold and contribute to the firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusionRequirements3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on Government Contracts preferredAdmission to the Virginia Bar is preferred, with eligibility or commitment to gaining admission to the District of Columbia Bar if not already admittedProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a teamEducationJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolStrong academic credentials are requiredCertificationsActive bar membership in Virginia or another jurisdiction with a commitment to District of Columbia admissionSkillsExceptional writing and analytical skills, with consistent attention to detailStrong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases concurrentlyEffective client interaction skills and a client-focused mindsetAbility to work efficiently in both in-person and remote settings, with a commitment to being on-site at least three days per weekBenefitsFully covered health and dental insurance premiums for associates, with 30% coverage for dependentsFlexible remote work policy, balanced with in-office collaboration expectationsBillable hours and bonus structure:Minimum of 1800 annual billable hours, with eligible pro bono and diversity work, includedHours-based bonuses are available, with incremental increases for 1900, 2000, and 2100 billable hoursMerit-based annual bonuses based on performance, client outcomes, and contributions to the firm This litigation boutique law firm provides a wide variety of legal services to clients.
