Location: On-site Irvine CA (Hybrid Mode)Job Description:We are looking for a talented Golang Developer with a strong background in Python and experience working with AWS services. In this role, you will be responsible for migrating Python-based code to Golang within AWS Lambda nodes, building efficient, scalable, and reliable cloud-based applications. This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting migration project and work with cutting-edge technologies.Note : There will be Python to Golang Migration on AWS Lambda nodesExperience: 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of Golang Key Responsibilities: Lead the migration of existing Python codebase to Golang on AWS Lambda.Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications in Golang and Python on AWS infrastructure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in Golang.Ensure high-performance and availability by optimizing existing services.Build and deploy applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudFormation.Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, and identify optimization opportunities during the migration process.Maintain documentation and best practices for Golang development and AWS service integration. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Golang with experience building cloud-native applications.Strong Python experience, with knowledge of best practices and debugging techniques.Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFormation.Experience in migrating services from Python to Golang in production environments.Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven programming.Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot performance issues in cloud environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other AWS services such as DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, and RDS.Experience with DevOps tools such as CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.Familiarity with cloud security and monitoring tools. Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
