MAIN PURPOSE Responsible for leading the standardization, harmonization and Orbia’s company-wide manufacturing costing practices, analysis and policies. Provide leadership to Orbia’s manufacturing cost controllers and provide critical insight to senior leadership regarding development of operating cost improvement opportunities and strategy. The position coordinates all aspects of manufacturing cost controlling and analysis across all finance teams in Orbia. Leads the development of proposals related to manufacturing cost processes to Director of FP&A and Orbia CFO. This position is a key member of the financial team in conducting analysis, identifying opportunities, and in assisting the Director of FP&A and CFO in driving value creation across the company. This position also plays a critical role in coordinating with all business group CFOs and their local finance teams to harmonize manufacturing costing processes globally, to global collect info, and to drive data-driven decision making. This role also supports executive management and Board of Directors through support of annual budget, quarterly earnings reports, and ad hoc presentations/analysis. The Global Manufacturing Cost Leader also supports the capex management process for entire organization, in particular the review and analysis of capex proposals, and development of post-mortem analysis. What are the dimension of the job? * Harmonize and standardize manufacturing cost methodologies across the company * Lead development and compliance of company’s manufacturing cost analysis practices * Lead development of standard methods to analyze and report on operational excellence KPIs (productivity, efficiency, capacity utilization, etc.) * Support Business Group manufacturing cost controllers and Business Group VPs of Operations to coordinate annual budget/target setting process, monthly forecasting and on-going data analytics and reporting * Assist Manager of FP&A team in consolidation of annual operating budget, KPIs and monthly forecasts * Coordinate with Business Group teams to develop operating KPIs to drive overall operating performance (financial and non-financial) * Conduct variance analysis and other projects to identify opportunities for cost savings across global operations * Participate in monthly financial and operating reviews to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings * Assist in review of capex investments projects and capex management process Who will you be working with? * Director of Corporate FP&A to Support financial planning processes (see above) and analysis * Orbia CFO to Support decision making and analysis * Business Group CFOs to Lead manufacturing cost initiatives (see above) and analysis * Corporate Finance team - Corporate Controller to Coordinate with Corporate Finance team to align financial reporting and analysis processes and info to support decision making * CEO and BOD for Assist in preparation of annual budget presentation, quarterly earning reports, ad hoc analysis To perform satisfactorily in this job, what types of qualification or knowledge are required? * + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business/finance/accounting + Thorough knowledge of manufacturing costing methods and ERP systems (SAP) + Current expertise of financial reporting methods (IFRS, GAAP) + Knowledge of financial metrics (ROIC, working capital, NPV, IRR, etc.) + Strong business acumen and understanding of strategic planning processes + Knowledge of operations improvement programs (e.g. Lean, Six-Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Industry 4.0, etc.) To perform satisfactorily in this job, what types of background is required? * + Manufacturing Cost Controller background – min ten years + Finance Director or Management experience – min 5 yrs + Preferably with multi-national/global, manufacturing companies + Background working in corporate environment + Background in creating detailed operations business cases (e.g. footprint analysis, capacity utilization, strategic planning, etc.) #cb Our Global brands: Dura-line, Koura Global, Vestolit, Netafim, Alphagary, Wavin.
