Conduct physical counts of all IT devices to ensure records match actual inventory. Remove hard drives from decommissioned devices in accordance with company policies and security protocols. Record and track asset serial numbers and relevant details in the inventory management system. Collaborate with IT staff to identify and document any discrepancies in inventory records. Help in organizing and managing the storage of physical hardware and accessories. Participate in the development and implementation of inventory management processes and best practices. Assist with additional IT projects as needed. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and hardware components. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, etc.). Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Eagerness to learn and develop skills in IT asset management.
