The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience as a practicing attorney with familiarity with education law, emphasizing administrative hearings, litigation, and learning.Duties:Provide legal advice and representation to public school districts and other public agencies on a range of legal matters.Handle administrative hearings and litigation related to education law issues.Conduct legal research and analysis about education law.Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and opinions.Participate in negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients.Keep abreast of developments in education law and relevant legal precedents.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility to become admitted.1-3 years of experience practicing law, preferably with exposure to education law.Prior transactional experience or experience representing school districts and/or public agencies is a plus.Strong legal research and writing skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility to become admitted.Skills:Familiarity with education law and relevant legal principles.Proficiency in legal research and writing.Negotiation and advocacy skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.Strong interpersonal skills for effective client communication and collaboration.
