General Surgery Opening in Astoria Oregon_x000D x000D_A respected health clinic, in partnership with a leading university's health system, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon. The clinic is a well-established practice, currently comprised of 2 general surgeons._x000D x000D_Key Responsibilities:_x000D x000D_Proficiency in a full range of general surgery procedures, including endoscopy, cholecystectomy, breast biopsy, and mastectomies._x000D_Participation in 1:3 or 1:4 call rotation._x000D_Opportunities for leadership roles within the medical group and various committees._x000D x000D_Qualifications:_x000D_Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills._x000D_Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and multiple medical specialties, including surgical, non-surgical, and primary care sectors._x000D x000D_About the Hospital:_x000D x000D_A 25-bed, critical access, not-for-profit hospital with a focus on person-centered care._x000D_The hospital is Planetree-Certified and has served the community for over a century._x000D_Nearly 800 caregivers, including a diverse professional medical staff of more than 80 physicians and advanced practice professionals._x000D x000D_About Our Community Hospital:_x000D x000D_Located in a serene historic coastal town where river meets ocean._x000D_Committed to person-centered care, community health, and a strategic plan emphasizing care for both patients and caregivers._x000D_Offers a mix of history, outdoor adventures, culinary experiences, and scenic beauty._x000D x000D_Astoria, Oregon, on the north Oregon coast, just 90 minutes from the greater Portland, Oregon metropolitan area.
