Position : General Manager, Airport Lounge Location : LAX Airport Experience Level : Mid-senior Employment Type : Full-time Visa Sponsorship : Not available Relocation Assistance : Limited About the Role: The General Manager will lead all operational functions of an upscale airport lounge, ensuring premium guest service and a high-end culinary experience. This role involves managing daily lounge operations, from staffing and payroll to inventory and client relationships, while ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management : Oversee all aspects of lounge operations, including guest interactions, food service, HR, payroll, and inventory. Financial Oversight : Drive financial performance, meeting budgetary goals and controlling costs. Team Leadership : Inspire, coach, and develop frontline staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences. Client Relations : Build strong relationships with clients and customers, representing the companys standards of service. Safety and Compliance : Ensure full adherence to food and physical safety programs. Food Service Excellence : Oversee à la carte dining operations, ensuring quality and premium service. Required Skills and Experience: Education : Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; certifications in hospitality/management are a plus. Experience : Minimum of 5 years in management within upscale hospitality settings, including food and beverage services at high-end hotels, private clubs, or airport lounges. Technical Skills : Proficiency with automated food inventory, ordering, and production systems; experience with menu graphics programs is beneficial. Leadership : Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, communicate effectively, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Clearance : Must pass TSA background check and obtain LAX Airport Badge.
