SodexoMAGIC offers dedicated service via the following Sodexo segments: Corporate Services, Hospitals, K-12 Schools, Universities.Sodexo is seeking an experienced General Manager for American Water Food, a Corporate Services account located in Camden, NJ. In this highly visible role, you will direct and participate in all daily food service operations for our full-service Cafe, Catering, and Coffee Service. Responsibilities will include managing budgets and all unit financials, training and development of the hourly and management teams, strategic planning, payroll, HR functions, catering, direct client interaction, and supervision of non-union hourly associates and a culinary team.The successful candidate will have at least 2 years leading food service operations, strong financial acumen, the ability to develop and maintain strong customer relations, computer literacy, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. Prior experience successfully managing a subsidy account in a corporate dining setting would be a definite plus for this role!Key Duties Include: Provides team leadership & training Controls unit financials Directs daily food operations for quality & safety standards Supervises day-to-day activities Delegates authority Assigns & prioritizes activities Monitors operating standards Establishes a safe work environment Supports workplace inclusion activitiesWe are looking for candidates who have: An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience Experience managing a management team both front-of-house and back-of-house Financial acumen, experience with creating and managing budgets Experience training and directing a talented and diverse staff Innovation and ability to grow revenue and manage cost Customer driven and strong track record in organizational development Superior client relations skills and executive presence Experience working with food management systemsThe salary for this position is $85k annuallyLearn more about Not the job for you?At Sodexo, we offer Facilities Management positions in Corporate, Schools, Campus, Energy and Resources, Government and Agencies, Healthcare and Senior Living locations across the United States.The SodexoMAGIC partnership represents the union of two global brands that operate at peak performance.
