This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic legal team and manage a range of cases from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience handling general litigation and product liability matters and will possess strong analytical, communication, and legal research skills. This position provides an excellent chance for growth in a collaborative and supportive environment.Duties:Manage general litigation and product liability cases from start to finish, both independently and with guidance from senior attorneys.Review case files, analyze claims, and identify potential causes of action.Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and case-related correspondence.Attend depositions, court appearances, motion hearings, and mediations.Prepare for trials and assist in trial-related tasks.Conduct in-depth legal research and provide clear, actionable advice to clients.Work with expert witnesses, including retaining and collaborating on case strategies.Lead settlement negotiations and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure adherence to client guidelines.Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to ensure timely case progress.Accurately track billable hours and meet all deadlines.Requirements:Admission to practice law in the State of New York (additional admissions in NJ, CT, and/or PA are a plus).Federal court experience is highly desirable.A minimum of 3-8 years of experience in general litigation and product liability law.Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; the ability to produce precise and error-free work.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in New York State (Additional state licenses are a plus).Skills:Exceptional legal writing and research capabilities.Strong oral communication and advocacy skills.Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Client-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality legal service.Job Location:White Plains, NYBenefits:Health, life, and disability insurance (short-term and long-term).401(k) plan with company contributions.Flexible work arrangements.Paid time off (PTO) for vacation, sick leave, and personal days.Opportunity for professional development and career advancement.
