The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, handling written discovery, conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and maintaining organized case files. The position requires strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective case strategies. Duties:Oversee all aspects of pending litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.Proficient in preparing and responding to written discoveryTake and defend depositionsCommunicate effectively with expert witnessesNegotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clientsDevelop deep analytical skills to evaluate and resolve complex legal issuesMaintain accurate and organized case files and documentationCollaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategiesEffectively communicate with colleagues, clients, courts, and opposing counsel Requirements:1-3 years of litigation experience in Federal, State, and/or local courtsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in the relevant jurisdictionStrong research, writing, and oral advocacy abilitiesMotivated and detail-orientedAbility to work collaboratively with a team Skills:Proficient in drafting legal documents (pleadings, motions, briefs)Strong negotiation skillsExcellent research and analytical skillsEffective oral advocacy abilitiesOrganized and detail-orientedCollaborative team player Benefits offered:Competitive salary and bonus structureGroup Health, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance benefits401(k) Plan with competitive employer contributionProfessional financial advisement servicesHybrid remote working environment This Midwest based firm has offices throughout Kentucky and Ohio.
