Well&Nest LLC has partnered with a Litigation firm that services the legal needs of companies throughout California. They seek an Associate Attorney - General Liability/Professional Liability for their downtown Los Angeles location. Responsibilities Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior attorneys to provide legal advice Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings Communicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff Qualifications 3-8 years of experience Experience in representing both design professionals and miscellaneous professionals (Preferred) Significant experience in discovery and law and motion practice Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) Successful completion of the bar exam Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school Must also be a self-starter who possesses strong organizational skills Able to work with multiple clients Must have excellent writing and oral advocacy skills Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients Ability to work with partners and other attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in the office (San Diego), 2 days working from home Competitive Salary Range: $145,000 To 190,000.00 annually plus bonus Benefits: 100% paid medical, vision, dental, and life insurance Profit-sharing plan Unlimited PTO And more!
