The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload, conduct depositions, prepare for trials, and manage all aspects of discovery and motion practice.Duties:Handle local and national accounts throughout California.Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution.Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, and expert witnesses.Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony.Review and analyze discovery requests, draft discovery responses, and pleadings.Prepare court filings and serve to opposing counsel, with experience in e-filing procedures.Assist with trial preparation and provide trial support as needed.Maintain accurate and timely billing and time records.Requirements:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice law in the state of California.Minimum of 2 years of experience in product liability, transportation, aviation, or premises liability practice areas.Proven experience with motion practice and taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.Strong research and writing skills with attention to detail.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.Skills:Excellent litigation skills with proficiency in managing complex cases independently.Strong oral advocacy and deposition skills.Superior research and writing abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Benefits:Hybrid work environment with potential for full remote work.Competitive compensation commensurate with experience.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and 401(k) retirement plan.
