This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the CFO and Controller, and ensuring the seamless execution of various accounting functions. Key Responsibilities: Cash Disbursements: Process weekly cash disbursements for our Mexico Operations under the direction of the Controller. Credit Card Management: Oversee employee credit card applications and charges. Petty Cash: Manage the petty cash account efficiently. Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed assets and associated depreciation schedules. Customer Pricing: Own the process of managing customer pricing in IQMS. Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve discrepancies related to receiving, supplier invoices, freight, purchase order pricing, etc., ensuring accurate recording of inventory, expenses, and payments. Procedure Development: Analyze and recommend improvements to existing accounting procedures. Billing Backup: Provide backup support for US Operations in billing activities, including accounts payable and receivable. Month-End Close: Assist in month-end financial statement close activities as needed. Metrics Preparation: Collect data and prepare monthly financial metrics. Project Support: Contribute to various accounting projects as necessary. Costing and Inventory Analysis: Assist with standard costing and inventory analysis. Required Skills and Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field with an emphasis in accounting. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software is highly desirable. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and focus, even under tight deadlines. Problem-Solving: Adept at analyzing and solving problems with a proactive approach. Work Ethic: Willingness to work extended hours when necessary to meet critical deadlines.
