Job ID: 490315 Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of Oldcastle APG and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec. We are currently looking for a General Labourer Cleaner at our Bolton plant. The successful candidate must be available to work on a dayshift schedule. The regular working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (6:00 am to 3:00 pm on Friday) JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the General Labourer must be able to handle various tasks including the following: Clean molds, mixer, and block machine Participate in production and preventative maintenance of equipment as requested. Sort and manipulate concrete products Perform yard and plant clean-up and keeps his work area clean Apply all health and safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment Repair broken pallets Maintain quality standards on products REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma Manufacturing work experience Must be ok with Dusty and Hot environment (during Cleaning) Must be willing to work in tight spaces and at heights if necessary Must be able to stand for entirety of shift Lift up to 40lbs Forklift experience will be an asset Safety oriented WHY WORK AT PERMACON?
