Key Responsibilities: Forklift Operation: Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move, and stack materials as required. Transport materials between different areas of the facility or job site. Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any mechanical issues or malfunctions. Adhere to safety guidelines while operating machinery, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). General Labor Duties: Perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment. Assist in the assembly, installation, or repair of products or structures as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring they are free from hazards. Assist with inventory management by accurately recording material movements. Material Handling: Sort, organize, and prepare materials for distribution or disposal. Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform specific tasks. Collaborate with team members to fulfill production or project goals efficiently. Safety and Compliance: Follow company safety protocols and guidelines, and ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards, accidents, or incidents to supervisors immediately. Attend regular safety training sessions and meetings. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Proven experience in general labor and forklift operation. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to forklift operation and general labor. Skills and Abilities: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in tasks. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Working Conditions: Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the job site.
