The Excalibur Group is currently seeking a General Clerk I in Washington, DC to support a local contract . **Will be subject to a background/credit screen prior to employment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coding and filing documents in an extensive alphabetical file. Posting to individual accounts. Opening mail, calculating and posting charges to departmental accounts. Operating basic office equipment, e.g., photocopier, facsimile, multi-line phone/voicemail systems, mailing machines, and minimal computer programs. REQUIREMENT Working knowledge of current commercially available software packages for Microsoft Office; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook email, electronic calendars, spreadsheets, electronic forms, etc. Work assigned is mostly sedentary, however, some walking and bending is required to perform file maintenance tasks. Experience in office setting preferred.
