We are searching for a garage door installer who is knowledgeable, experienced, and detail-oriented to help us grow our team. You will take the necessary measurements and follow the manufacturer's instructions to install garage doors and operators in homes and businesses. You will also have to work to figure out what's wrong with current systems and work with customers to provide solutions. Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills. This position will need to communicate effectively, work together with a team, and be able to problem-solve quickly and effectively. Responsibilities: • Carry, lift and/or move heavy objects overhead with assistance as required• Instruct buyers on the best ways to use and maintain their garage door systems• Read instruction manuals for all products installed in a service environment before attempting to install• Add finished projects and the components that were used to the database• Follow all applicable policies, codes, standards, and safety procedures Qualifications: • Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, communication, and providing exceptional service to customers• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record• Skills in math, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities at a high level• Prior work experience in the construction, maintenance, or a related industry is preferred Compensation: $52,000 - $70,000+ yearly About Company: J.A.G. & Sons is actively involved and respected by the garage door industry.
