NuCara Pharmacy is a dynamic and growing retail pharmacy serving patients in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and Texas. We are looking for a full-time retail staff pharmacist who wants to spend quality time counseling patients, providing immunizations and delivering medication therapy management in conjunction with some nursing home dispensing functions. At NuCara, we prioritize one-on-one patient counseling and medication management with the goal of delivering the best pharmacy value without sacrificing the quality of care prized by our patients. This position is ideal for a pharmacist looking for a practice setting where they are challenged to meet the specialized needs of individual patients yet still have many personal interactions with retail patients. Candidates should be highly organized, highly motivated, be able to work in a team, and use available resources to provide appropriate patient care. Candidates with retail and LTC experience preferred, but not required. The position requires a graduate of an accredited college of Pharmacy with BS or higher in Pharmacy, as well as a current license to practice Pharmacy in the State of Iowa. Full-time positions offer competitive compensation, Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, PTO, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) matching contribution. Store hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The pharmacy is closed Sundays and all major holidays. Schedule for this position will be full time and include participation in the Saturday rotation schedule. Employment contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
