Qualifications Education: High school diploma Experience: Minimum three-years' experience with facility maintenance and cleaning Overall Purpose: This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for staff and customers by completing janitorial duties. This position is also required to assist with maintaining cleaning/sanitation inventory and stock levels. Key Accountabilities Perform full janitorial duties including the cleaning of washrooms, walls, floors, windows, waste containers, stripping, waxing and polishing floors, and other duties as necessary Restocks facility supplies in washrooms, janitorial closets, and storage areas Open and close the facility when required Act as senior facilities contact when required Perform additional position-related accountabilities assigned by management Key Business Relationships Internal: The CEO and Senior Management Team, Managers, staff members and other members of the Facilities Department External: External customers, vendors, suppliers and service technicians Scope Budget: No budget responsibility Direct and Indirect Reports: Minimal to no supervision and no direct reports Key Competencies: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Behavioural: Learn and model BPL’s values during all interactions with internal and external individuals. .
