Seeking a precise and thorough individual for the role of Full Charge Bookkeeper at Charles V. Hardenbergh, PC in Petersburg, VA. Key responsibilities include creating financial reports, performing audits, supervising financial records, and verifying financial information. It is crucial to work closely with the finance team to improve financial processes. Responsibilities:• Oversee all financial activities, including managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting processes• Efficiently maintain the chart of accounts structure• Accurately input journal entries into the system• Perform daily reconciliations for multiple accounts diligently• Ensure adherence to GAAP in all bookkeeping procedures and meet deadlines for various financial transactions and reports• Establish and supervise effective accounting systems, with a specialization in QuickBooks Online Qualifications:• Must have a strong grasp of charts of accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, and other standard bookkeeping procedures following GAAP guidelines• Demonstrated history of consistently meeting deadlines and successfully finishing projects• Possess exceptional attention to detail as a critical attribute• Approach tasks methodically, emphasizing accuracy and precision right from the start• Minimum of 5 years of experience required, especially in a law firm or professional services environment• Full-time presence in the office is mandatory Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 yearly About Company: We are a fast-paced, hardworking, fun, creative group that is focused on helping attorneys in Virginia grow and manage their firms.
