Employbridge is currently conducting a search for a Freight Forwarding Sales Specialist in the West Covina CA area. The Freight Forwarding Sales Specialist will be responsible to drive revenue through existing and new business opportunities. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Core duties will include creating sales opportunities, attaining targeted business volume, maintaining and expanding strong client relationship * Develop and implement effective sales plan to achieve target goals while focusing on the (APAC) Asia-Pacific Trade Lanes * Build a sales pipeline, qualify leads and convert prospects into customers promoting all products and services offered * Develop tracking and baseline measurements to monitor and improve sales results. Achieve KPI sales targets * Conduct sales presentations and site visits to prospective customers * Become a subject matter expert on product and services offered tailoring to meet the needs of the customers * Prepare quotes and proposal rates including terms and conditions eliminating any risks * Build and maintain strong customer relationships ensuring satisfaction, being proactive, diligent to handle customers inquiries to remedy problems and resolve any issues immediately. Develop relationships at all levels of the organization * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or University graduate in operations logistics, business administration or equivalent * 2 plus years of sales experience in logistics or freight forwarding with both Ocean and Air * Import and Export knowledge required * Solid understanding of the Asia Pacific Trade Lanes * Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal * Strong MS Office Products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Go Freight * Problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work a sale from cradle to grave * Role will be Hybrid. Required to be in office as needed * In accordance with California laws, the expected base salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000/year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and education
