The role focuses on providing transactional legal support to emerging franchise businesses. This position is ideal for a positive and detail-oriented attorney eager to work with small business founders on franchise documentation, including Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs), state registrations, and franchisee agreements. A strong commitment to learning and adaptability within a flexible, collaborative work culture is essential.Duties:Assist clients in preparing and maintaining Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) in compliance with federal and state requirementsManage franchise state registration processes and filingsDraft and review franchisee agreements, ensuring adherence to legal standardsProvide guidance and legal advice to founders of new and small businessesCollaborate with clients on business structuring, licensing, and other essential franchise agreementsWork in a fast-paced environment, addressing multiple client needs and deadlinesRequirements:Experience in small business transactions, preferably in the franchise or business law sectorAbility to communicate effectively and build rapport with small business clients and foundersStrong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detailProven experience in drafting and writing legal documentsAbility to multi-task and work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of PennsylvaniaSkills:Proficiency in legal drafting and document managementStrong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving client needsExcellent organizational and communication skillsHigh degree of computer proficiency and familiarity with legal software toolsBenefits:Flexible work environment promoting work-life balanceSupportive, collaborative work culture with opportunities for professional growth
