Forest City Family Practice is seeking an experienced, full time Family Medicine physician to take over an established primary care patient base. This is an outpatient-only position seeing ages 3 years and older and caring of patients of all backgrounds and socioeconomic needs. Forest City is located one hour south of Asheville and 1.5 hours west of Charlotte. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing community and focus on rural healthcare! Forest City Family Care is owned and operated by Rutherford Regional Medical Center in Rutherfordton, NC - a Duke Lifepoint facility. We offer high quality health care in a small, charming town. The town of Rutherfordton is one of those fantastic gems in the North Carolina foothills that s filled with history, artistry, shopping and folklore. There is so much to offer in this area of the state and both Rutherfordton and Forest City put you in the middle of it all.
