Our firm performs forensic engineering throughout the world in the fields of civil, structural, architectural, electrical, and mechanical engineering. As an Employee-Owned company, we listen to our shareholders.Forensic Engineer Qualifications and Experience Needed:Must have a Civil/Structural PE certification (EIT acceptable with forensics experience).Must be willing and able to complete roof inspections for commercial and residential buildings.Must have 2+ years of forensic experience.Proficiency in technical writing is a plus.Fluent communication skills are a plus.Testimony experience is a plus.Forensic Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will perform forensic engineering work for clients throughout the region. The engineer will be expected to evaluate the cause of failure, extent of damage, and options for repair in a variety of construction-related circumstances, including roof evaluations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Evaluate scope of repair and repair optionsEvaluate the cause and extent of damage following storms, natural disasters, accidents, and fires/explosionsEffectively communicate opinions in writing and verbally, and sometimes as courtroom testimony.Effectively and patiently communicate technical matters to laypersons and attorneys.More About Our Firm:Established in 1924, our firm is a multi-faceted forensic engineering and consulting company.
