This full-time position is ideal for a professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. The role involves handling various legal tasks, including both virtual and in-court appearances, reviewing pleadings, and providing sound legal advice in matters related to creditor's representation. Additional bar admissions in other states such as Delaware, Michigan, or Massachusetts are a plus but not required.Duties:Represent clients in foreclosure and creditors’ rights matters, including virtual and in-court appearances.Review, draft, and sign legal pleadings.Provide legal opinions and advice to clients regarding foreclosure and creditor-related issues.Work with a team to manage a high caseload while adhering to tight deadlines.Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels within the firm.Maintain accurate case files and ensure all necessary legal documentation is prepared and filed on time.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Connecticut State Bar; additional bar memberships in Delaware, Michigan, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maryland, or Washington, D.C. are beneficial.Strong work ethic and ability to handle a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong written and oral communication abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Connecticut (additional state licenses are a plus).Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Familiarity with collection software such as Cogent is a plus.Strong legal research and writing skills.Ability to multi-task effectively and manage a large volume of cases.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse team of professionals.Benefits:401(k) retirement plan.Health, dental, life, and vision insurance.Paid time off.Location: Connecticut (specific location details can be provided during the interview process).This opportunity offers the chance to join a respected firm with a commitment to growth and professional development in the field of foreclosure and creditors’ rights law.
