Food Supply Chain Planner Private, family-owned, and operated food service distributor in Elizabeth, NJ, servicing the Tri-state area for over 40 years, is seeking a Food Demand Planner to join our team. 85K Plus Bonus and Benefits Position Overview:We are looking for a dedicated Food Supply Chain Planner who is highly skilled with numbers and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in demand planning and replenishment to help maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure the freshness of our products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and customer needs to optimize stock levels. - Work closely with the purchasing team to maintain the quality and freshness of inventory. - Monitor inventory levels, analyzing and adjusting replenishment strategies as needed. - Collaborate with the company owner on purchasing decisions and help streamline inventory processes. - Utilize data analysis to anticipate product demand fluctuations and ensure product availability. Requirements:- Strong numerical and analytical skills with experience in demand planning. - Experience in inventory management, preferably in the food industry. - Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. - Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
