Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the sales team to forecast demand and align with both domestic and international suppliers for timely deliveries, ensuring inventory levels meet market requirements and manufacturing constraints. Develop and implement a comprehensive global supply plan based on forecasts, production capabilities, and strategic objectives, ensuring optimal sourcing and supplier accountability. Maintain active relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with delivery timelines and quality standards, and support weekly operations like purchase orders, freight tracking, and inventory management. Work with the inventory control team to monitor inventory levels, proactively prevent stockouts, and refine processes for improved procurement and cost efficiency. Lead cost-reduction initiatives, manage supplier performance metrics, and resolve any issues related to operations, purchasing, or quality while supporting process optimization across procurement activities. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field. At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a background in supply chain management, buying, or procurement. Knowledge of imports and international supply chains, particularly with products sourced from regions like Greece, Turkey, Egypt, and others. Certification from ISM or APICS is required, and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and software such as Great Plains (GP) and Korber is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
