We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. In this role, you'll provide personalized care and support to individuals with IDD in a home-like setting. From assisting with daily activities to exploring new experiences together, you'll be instrumental in helping individuals achieve their goals and live life to the fullest. As a DSP Float, you will work at our programs with the highest need for staffing. We are seeking a FLOAT DSP to "Float" between Litchfield, Hutchinson, Cokato, Buffalo, Annandale, and Atwater Minnesota . *Must be available for ALL shifts (days, evenings, overnights)* $19 hourly Mileage Reimbursement Responsibilities: Engage individuals in fun and enriching activities tailored to their interests and abilities. Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Foster a sense of community and inclusion through outings, recreational activities, and participation in social events. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans and goals. Provide compassionate emotional support and companionship, building trusting relationships based on mutual respect and understanding. Document daily activities and progress notes, ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in human services or related fields preferred. Previous experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required-training will be provided. Passion for helping others, with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to varying needs and schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Patience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting independence and dignity for all individuals.
