Purpose: The purpose of the maintenance Technician position is to provide General Building and Construction work, and grounds maintenance at the Barrett Petfood Facilities. Attributes: Capable of lifting 50 lbs Able to obtain Forklift certification Welding experience beneficial, not mandatory Adheres to GMPs and safety protocols Excellent troubleshooting skills Proficient with computers Collaborative team player, effective communicator with group/shift Responsibilities: Complete facility maintenance activity to ensure compliance with proper food safety regulations and requirements. Grounds maintenance such as snow removal and lawncare as needed.
