Are you an experienced Fire Safety Surveyor looking to join a Nationwide business? If so then we want to hear from you as we are looking to recruit an experience and qualified candidate to join our dedicated Team. About the role This is an exciting new role so a great opportunity to develop and add value to the Division, we are keen to meet candidates who have established compartmentalisation fire safety as part of their background. The role will be reporting into the Fire Compliance Manager , this position will suit candidates who enjoy travel as the role is a hybrid working role we are open to candidates located anywhere in the UK however the role will involve travel to Nationwide business sites which is a critical part of the role. This winning candidate will also be instrumental in leading Fire Safety Surveys to include Compartmentalisation and Fire door surveys and Fire Risk backssments and reviews of Fire Strategies across a portfolio of commercial and domestic buildings within a Facilities Maintenance environment. We are looking for excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to external and internal contacts in a positive way. You will have the ability to work alone or as part of a team, demonstrating company values whilst delivering a 1st class customer service. Conducting Surveys and inspections of commercial and domestic buildings including Fire protection assets ensuring that ALL fire related installations, equipment and assets are compliant to relevant Fire Industry Standards, Approved Code of Practice and in line with statutory requirements and Mears Fire Procedures and Policies. Working with 3rd party accreditation to ensure Mears Group achieve and maintain Fire relevant accreditation. Carry out Surveys and Inspection on commercial and domestic buildings.
