Job Description Position: Financial System Analyst Location: Remote for The Center of Disease Control in Atlanta, GA. **Attach a resume when applying Job Summary: IBEX IT Business Experts, LLC is seeking a Financial System Analyst to support the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA. Qualifications: 4-7 years of related experience Bachelor’s degree in related field Responsibilities: Implements, maintains, and updates financial systems. Modifies system menus, edits spreadsheets and reports, and troubleshoots system problems. Imports files to and exports files from financial databases. Trains staff on the use of financial systems and acts as a liaison to the information technology department. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Deploy formal budget management techniques, manage the System budget development process and timelines for budget deliverables required by the Office of Financial Resources, and monitor and report funds expenditures and projections Develop a Financial Management Plan which shall identify financial controls, methodology, tools, processes, tasks, resources, schedule and outreach, and communications to fulfill required deliverables outlined in the task list. Support and provide inputs for the CDC leads to use in agency-level reporting on project financial performance, expenditure status, data calls, and other required system reports for the program. Work with the Government to determine additional reporting needs. The report formats/templates shall be determined after discussion with the CDC project lead and/or COR. Be responsible for maintaining, updating, and managing documentation, which will be stored in a CDC-specified electronic document management repository. Assist with facilitating, coordinating and/or participating in meetings to accomplish the requirements and scope of this contract. Assist in the preparation of meeting agendas, reports, dashboards, and presentation materials as well as manage scheduling logistics. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time remote position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.
