Learn more about Precision Hydraulic Cylinders: https://phc-global.com/ This role is responsible for the planning of monthly, annual & long term forecasting to ensure cost-effective operations within the guidelines set by Hydraulics . They will complete analysis of current data and provide recommendations for improvements. They will assist in the completion of relevant Business Plans and audit the effectiveness of actual performance. This role will be responsible for creating and executing streamlined modeling in coherence with global standardization. The FP&A Manager will work closely with Regional Finance Managers to ensure proper and effective costing methodologies. The FP&A Manager is responsible for providing prudent guidance to Sales and O perations on all financial decisions to optimize the overall profitability of the Company. This role will also act as trainer of FP&A within the organization, and a leader and mentor within the Finance function. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for financial planning - forecasting, annual operating plan, and strategic plan. Responsible for capital project evaluation and budget management. Analyzes product ion costing to advise HLT on optimal decisions for pricing, production location and capital utilization. Leads commercial pricing, cost analysis, and improvement recommendations. Leads, develops, and coaches direct reports and their teams. Responsible for financial variance and ad hoc analysis Educational requirements, Certifications: Post-secondary degree from an accredited University in Accounting, Finance, Business or related; Professional designation (CMA, CPA) and MBA preferred Experience: 5 years of financial planning and analysis leadership in a manufacturing environment spanning various facilities on a global scale KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY: Ability to work on global teams, proficient verbal and written communication Solid understanding of cost accounting and methodologies Extensive experience with budgeting/forecasting processes and Lean concept Computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Excel (Power BI, Power Query a plus) Proficiency in ERP systems, familiarity with Visual, SAP, preferred Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail and process High integrity and ethical standards, and an ability to handle confidential information.
