JOB SUMMARY: The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is responsible for the leadership and preparation of the company's strategic and annual financial plans, monthly forecasts, developing and reporting on key performance indicators and other special projects for the company's Executive Team, Board of Directors and private equity Owners. RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, develop, prepare and present company's budgets. Budgets include monthly, quarterly and yearly reports, revenues and expenses (COGS, payroll, travel, lease and other SG&A expenses) Provide accurate and timely Sales and EBITDA Forecasts to internal and external management Construct a Forecast database from Revenue through EBITDA by division, customer and product, where available, from the annual Budget Establish division and departmental communication sources from which information on updates to the Forecast can be collected on a recurring basis Publish weekly updates on the latest Forecast to internal and external management Perform complex financial analyses, including the following: Evaluate, analyze & update management on company's operating results and financial position Propose options for company improvement in revenue generation and expense reduction Prepare monthly revenue and expense variance and other analyses as needed Prepare division, region, product and product line profitability analyses Work with managers across departments to help develop plans, reports, and dashboards to support the success of the company. Perform other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, business or equivalent combination of related experience. Advanced Excel skills and Business Intelligence tools required; experience with SAP system preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of Financial Planning experience. Knowledge of commonly used planning and projection concepts, practices, and procedures within the Financial Planning management field. Strong logical, analytical and problem solving/reconciliation skills. Ideal candidate has led financial planning for a middle market corporation with annual budget and weekly/monthly forecast reporting. Ability to successfully interact with co-workers is essential.
