JOB SUMMARY: Initiates , processes, follows-up and approves Unreimbursed Care applications. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Contacts patients with respect to Unreimbursed Care via personal contact , telephone and mail. Contact patients to obtain additional / missing information needed to complete application. Ensures I 00% of patient files contain all required documentation for Unreimbursed Care eligibility . Maintains log on Unreimbursed Care patients for reporting purpose. Follows-up with an Unreimbursed Care application on all patients who did not meet New Jersey Family Care criteria. Identifies in PCN billing system that patient is approved for services within Neighborhood Health Services Corporation. Assists with New Jersey Family C are applications as needed. Trains existing and new staff on the Unreimbursed Care application. Provides coverage for all departments and bull's-eye as needed. Ensure compliance with state of New Jersey letter of agreement terms. Powered by JazzHR
