We have recently had a vacancy arise within the UK for a Financial Controller Reporting to the Finance Director you will be part of committed and dedicated finance team with a broad network of UK contacts and support. This role will work as a sparring partner for the local management team plant to support the further development and growth of the company. ROLE PURPOSE: Key responsibilities include: Follow-up and analysis of the financial and operational KPIs and communication about this to local management. Leading the annual budget process from preparation to follow-up, forecast and management control. Special attention is paid to cost controlling, risk management, margin monitoring and subsequent calculation. Lead the continuous forecasting process in the plant, with input from the MD and other departments. Be accountable for this forecast in the UK level forecast Participate in defining processes in the plant, implement improvements in analysis and reporting so that accurate and relevant financial data is available. Participate in various projects and act as a permanent sparring partner for operations, sales and HR management. Analyzing and supervising investment projects. Acting as a back-up for the administration. Regular consultation with your colleague controllers in the UK plants, in addition to contacts with all sections. Person Specification: You have an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or similar) and preferably some experience (controlling, accounting) in an industrial environment. You are very analytical and at the same time pragmatic and hands-on: you act as a real business partner and support for the entire plant. You are a team player who communicates well at every level in the organization. You use tools such as Power BI, Access and Excel.
