Job Overview - Financial Controller - Construction Accounting: Join our client's team as a Financial Controller in Boston, MA. This role requires expertise in construction accounting, particularly in highway construction. As a key player in their financial leadership, you'll be responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. Compensation: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 + bonus Location: Boston, Massachusetts (On-site, 5 days a week) Responsibilities as the Financial Controller include: Leading financial operations with a focus on accuracy and accountability Managing construction cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting Preparing Work in Progress (WIP) schedules and budget forecasts Assisting in risk control, insurance programs, and contract management Developing company policies and procedures Collaborating with the leadership team on strategic financial planning Working with external partners for financial planning and reporting Ensuring compliance with corporate filings, payroll, and taxes Qualifications for the Financial Controller include: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting Minimum of 7 years in construction company finance/accounting Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role Familiarity with Foundation Construction Accounting Software is a plus Experience with Unit Price Billing, Certified Payrolls, Union Participation, and Public Bidding is preferred Application Notice: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
