We are seeking an experienced financial advisor to assist our clients in designing and implementing strategies to achieve their goals. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business or finance, a proven track record of creating successful and long-term advising relationships, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities: • Research and provide financial advice and strategies that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives• Create customized financial plans suitable for each client based on potential life changes and changing financial needs• Compile each client’s financial information to determine financial goals, financial status, cash flow, and financial expectations• Help clients implement financial recommendations such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products• Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to existing clients; track and monitor communications in the client file, including strategies and financial advice given Qualifications: • Exemplary communication skills, math skills, relationship skills, and customer service skills are vital• Valid professional license CPA, or CFP (Certified Financial Planner license from Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards) and FINRA Series 7 and 66, are required• Up-to-date knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, best practices, and tax regulations is necessary• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field• Computer proficiency including MS Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and financial planning software is vital• Bachelor's Degree from a Four - Year Institution• Prior sales and/or business experience preferred• Possess a history of personal and professional success• Ability to commute to the NYC Metro Area and ability to work onsite in our NYC Office Location• Strong communication skills inclusive of networking capabilities Compensation: $78,939 - $168,306 yearly About Company: Northwestern Mutual has been helping families and businesses achieve financial security for 165 years.
