Financial Advisor Position in Midtown, NYC Our financial advisors in Midtown, NYC play a crucial role in helping clients achieve their financial goals. By crafting and executing tailored financial plans, you will assist clients in understanding their current financial status, planning for the future, and providing the necessary financial strategies and assistance to reach their objectives. As you establish your financial planning practice, you will curate the most suitable insurance and investment plans to support clients throughout their financial journey. An ideal candidate for this position is an experienced professional who may have hit a career plateau and is seeking a change that allows them to leverage their skills to the fullest. Responsibilities:• Financial Planning: Analyze client financial status and develop customized plans including investments, insurance, and retirement planning.• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, offering ongoing financial advice support.• Sales of Financial Products: Recommend and sell Northwestern Mutual financial products such as life insurance, disability income insurance, and investment products.• Networking & Prospecting: Actively seek out new clients through networking, referrals, and market strategies. Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree from a Four-Year Institution.• Prior sales and/or business experience preferred.• Possess a history of personal and professional success.• Ability to commute to the NYC Metro Area and ability to work onsite in our NYC Office Location.• Strong communication skills inclusive of networking capabilities.
