Description:
A company is looking for a Finance and Accounting Analyst 2 to provide financial analytic services for the academic mission. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze financial data, prepare reports, and perform various types of analysis Provide recommendations for budget variances and prepare financial reports and projections Process financial transactions, including purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, and journal entries Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience 36 hours of accounting courses required if degree is in a related field Proficiency in accounting principles (e.g., GAAP) and advanced computer skills, including databases and spreadsheets Experience with relational databases and financial reporting concepts Prior experience in an Academic Health Center or relevant financial analysis
