We take great pride in doing our manufacturing capabilities and we do all our assembly in-house.PMI Kyoto is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team. The Field Service Technician will be based out of our Elk Grove, IL office and is responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of their equipment. The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable, has superior support skills and excellent communication. He/she will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide remote and hands on assistance with installations, training, repairs, warranty work, retrofits, safety improvements and equipment transfers. Travel to customer sites as needed domestically and internationally. Support PMIKYOTO assembly, start up and FAT efforts at factory, gaining needed machine specific expertise and training. Provide detailed call and service reports and provide suggestions for selling PM, additional spares or new equipment to our existing customers. Grow and develop their knowledge of PMIKYOTO equipment, support equipment, site safety requirements, electrical, mechanical and programming expertise. Required Skills/Abilities: Must have knowledge of packaging/manufacturing industry. Service and capital equipment experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must. Ability to time manage and be well organized. Team player with personal accountability. Mechanical and Electrical skills.
