Description:
RemX is seeking a Field Service Scheduler for our client in Carol Stream, IL. This is a full-time, on-site, direct-hire position. Pay: $55k-$65k BOE (Benefits include: medical/dental/vision, 401k, life ins., PTO) Monday- Friday (8-hour shifts, flexible hours) Duties: * Act as the main point of contact for customer calls when they seek service on machinery. * Responsible for monitoring the service technician's workloads and scheduling functions. * Analyze customer request patterns; including volumes, trends, and attrition rates. * Utilize the analysis results to forecast technician's workload and build scheduling plans to meet business objectives. * Maintain and adjust staffing schedule assignments to maintain key performance indicators. * Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, service requests, and complaints via email and phone. * Ensure timely dispatch of technicians with consideration to service priority and urgency. * Manage service tickets and ensure accurate documentation is performed for service activities. * Guide field service technicians and connect them with a resource for troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed. * Collaborate with technicians to determine appropriate spare parts and tools needed for service visits, ensuring preparedness for each assignment. * Identify recurring issues in service requests and escalate to the manager for follow-up. * Collaborate with the service team to find areas for improvement.Requirements: * Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with a professional, courteous approach. * Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities. * Proficiency with CRM tools. * Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products. * Mechanical knowledge * Prior experience with scheduling or dispatch; preferably in a service-centered environment * Work is performed in a warehouse environment; must be comfortable working in such an environment. * Must have the ability to sit and stand for periods of time as well as lift up to 25lbs on occasion.
