The town is served by two primary state highways, Routes 58 and 221, and Interstate highway 77. The residents are friendly and hardworking, extending open arms to business, industry, and visitors._x000D x000D_Facility is located in Galax, Virginia, about 13 miles to the south of Hillsville. Galax is nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains which offer a variety of outdoor activities to enjoy such as the New River Trail State Park, hunting, fishing, and canoeing, kayaking or tubing on the New River. Also, the Appalachian Trail passes through our area providing scenic views and great hiking. The Virginia Creeper Trail, one of the areas most popular trails begins at Whitetop Station.
