The ideal candidate will bring a blend of legal expertise and a commitment to providing exceptional service to clients navigating complex family law matters.Duties:Represent clients in divorce and family law cases, including child custody, spousal support, and property division.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding family law issues and divorce proceedings.Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, motions, and discovery.Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients in court hearings and trials.Maintain detailed case files and ensure timely updates on case progress.Collaborate with other legal professionals, including paralegals and support staff, to ensure efficient case management.Stay current with changes in family law and legal trends to provide clients with informed advice.Requirements:At least 2 years of experience practicing family law, with a focus on divorce and related matters.Proven track record of handling family law cases, including litigation and settlement negotiations.Strong understanding of family law principles, including child custody, child support, and alimony.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Ability to handle a high caseload while maintaining a high standard of client service.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey.Active membership in the New Jersey State Bar Association.Skills:Proficiency in Westlaw and legal research tools.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with family law software and case management tools.Experience with mediation and conflict resolution techniques is a plus.Job Location:Kearny, NJBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offRetirement planProfessional development opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive work environment
