Key Responsibilities: Case Management: Independently handle family law cases from inception to resolution, including courtroom litigation. Legal Research: Conduct thorough research on family law issues, ensuring well-informed legal strategies. Documentation: Draft, review, and analyze legal documents with precision, utilizing strong organizational and time management skills. Client Interaction: Communicate complex legal matters with empathy and clarity to clients of varying levels of sophistication. Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys on complex cases, and effectively communicate with outside attorneys, senior management, clients, and support staff. Court Appearances: Represent clients at depositions, mediations, and hearings. Billable Hours Management: Track and manage billable hours, ensuring that all client and case management obligations are met. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Family Law. Active license to practice law in California is required. Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) designation or eligibility is a plus.
