The ideal candidate will work closely with senior attorneys to support clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support issues, and more. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in a collaborative environment, assisting clients through complex and sensitive family law issues.DutiesAssist senior family law attorneys in handling a variety of family law cases, including divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, child custody, child support, and relocation issues.Prepare legal documents such as petitions, motions, affidavits, and other court filings.Conduct research and write briefs and pleadings on complex legal issues related to family law.Engage with clients directly, providing legal guidance and support through all stages of their cases.Review discovery materials, prepare for hearings, and assist in identifying and consulting experts.Support the team with drafting and reviewing pre-marital agreements, domestic violence cases, and adoption proceedings.Maintain high standards of organization and ensure all deadlines and client needs are met efficiently.RequirementsAt least 2-4 years of experience practicing family law.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent writing, drafting, and research abilities.Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.Licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey; Pennsylvania admission is a plus.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.CertificationsLicensed to practice law in New Jersey.Pennsylvania bar admission is preferred, but not required.SkillsExpertise in family law, including divorce, custody, child support, and domestic violence matters.Strong legal research and writing skills.Ability to handle sensitive client matters with professionalism and empathy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High level of organization, with a focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance and accidental death dismemberment coverage.Profit-sharing and 401(k) retirement plan.Paid vacation and paid holidays.
