We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lewisham to assist with the appointment of a Facilities Manager , on a 6-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Rate of Pay : £23.00 per hour PAYE Responsibilities: Personal responsibility for the day-to-day client contract maintenance activities for FMs building maintenance contracts as directed by the Facilities Manager, Hard Services. Work closely with the FM Helpdesk ensuring reactive tasks are issued and completed correctly within agreed times. Review contractors Risk backssment and Method Statement (RAMS). Raise any issues initially with contractors and escalate if necessary. Carry out site visits and undertake audits for quality checks on contractors workmanship and completion of works. Take personal responsibility, as required, for reviewing minor works and repair quotes along with raising orders and finance tracking. Qualifications: A recognised building engineering qualification or experience andthe ability to work towards a recognised building engineeringqualification. Experience : Evidence of operational management experience within a similarlycomplex and challenging environment with experience ofmanaging small maintenance contracts and related works. Knowledge of budget management and control Experience with Facilities Management Hard Service Experience of building maintenance Experience of working with a CAFM system Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
