Job details Microsoft excel Personnel Services is recruiting for a Facilities Manager on the Central Coast This position is in Buellton, CA and is paying 95:105k annually (decided based upon your experience). If you are qualified and interested in this position, please submit a resume ASAP JOB INFORMATION: The Facilities Manager is responsible for managing the design, planning, construction, maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities. The position plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs. POSITION DUTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty in a satisfactory manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: :Develops long and short:range maintenance plans/programs (e.g. emergency response plans, energy management plans, environmental health and safety plans, annual budget, etc.):Coordinates schedules and special event operations for the purpose of ensuring required facilities preparation:Develop a facility work request process:Supervisory role; involves people management, decision making, root cause analysis, inspections and audit readiness, communication, management of planning/scheduling and ignment, drive overall improvement of productivity:Inspects new construction, repair work, projects, equipment, work orders, daily maintenance and supplies for the purpose of ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently:Conceptualizes large:scale space planning and project management, negotiates leases, plans for commercial real estate expansion, and manages contracts for vendors/services related to facilities management:Works with Administrative team to forecast national staff growth needs; plan for future office development, and address parking needs as demanded by projected headcount:Oversees the operation of systems (eg. HVAC, Electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, security systems) within buildings are setup efficiently and within code requirements:Develop and implement actions to continually improve equipment performance, lower facility operating costs, increase the quality of facility operations, and drive energy and waste reduction:Develop criteria and performance specifications for facilities equipment and systems required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes:Maintain and expand knowledge of the following facility systems: compressed air, vacuum, nitrogen, etc:Partner with manufacturing, R and D, cultivation to translate process requirements into facilities requirements:Manage and maintain an after:hour emergency plan for responsible operations. Be available to respond to facility operational issues during off:hours:Prepares purchase requisitions in order to request any material and supplies such as tools, equipment and replacement parts:Interfaces with vendors and suppliers as necessary to discuss products used in repair work and/or projects that need to be completed:Manages Facilities capital and operating budgets, reporting monthly on budget performance:Performs personnel functions (e.g. interviewing, evaluating, supervising, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining adequate staffing, enhancing productivity of personnel and achieving objectives within budget:Researches new products, laws, regulations, etc. related to facilities management, for the purpose of recommending efficient purchases and increasing workflow efficiency SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Direct Reports: Janitorial, Gardener, and building maintenance personnel COMPETENCIES: :Planning and Organizing : Engages in short and long:term planning, sets priorities to o
