As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager enthusiastic experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills. This role is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation and repair of all plant equipment, as well as the maintenance of the plant infrastructure. The successful incumbent will also lead and support the maintenance staff with a special focus on continuously improving processes and efficiencies. This position reports to the Plant Manager. This position is for the Day shift (7:00 pm - 3:30 pm) What you will be doing: Leads maintenance department and directs maintenance activities related to facility and equipment repair and installation. Communicates daily with operations personnel to prioritize maintenance activities and escalate issues as required. Coordinates work of outside contractors and ensures that the facility operates safely and efficiently providing the best cost-reduction solutions. Ensures that preventative maintenance complies with the Company Quality Standards and ensures that the department and employees comply with all Quality systems and ISO 14001. Ensures that all maintenance documentation is correctly completed and updated regularly Sources equipment, tooling and spare parts.
